ABOUT US
We are the University of Central Florida's Pre-Student Osteopathic Medical Association Chapter, rebuilt from the ground up in 2023 after COVID paused campus life. Our mission is to introduce students to osteopathic medicine (DO), a holistic approach to healthcare that emphasizes preventive care and treating the whole person, not just the symptoms. Today, Pre-SOMA serves as a welcoming space where UCF Students can explore the DO path through our programs offered to members. We believe every member deserves support, representation, and opportunities, whether you’re just curious about medicine or certain about your future career in medicine.
